Hi, I recently took off the mower deck to replace the blades on my Troy-Bilt Pony that I have had less than a year. After putting the deck back on, I noticed the left and right sides were around 1/2" or more off. I loosened the bolt to the adjusting gear, but I cannot get the adjusting gear to turn at all. I then took off the bolt and adjusting gear and everything looked on the gear. I did expect the mower deck to drop on this side after I removed this bolt, but it did not. After prying apart the deck from the piece that hooks to the mounting arm the deck did fall. I then lined that piece back up and put the adjusting gear and bolt back on. After getting everything back together and loosening the bolt again, I noticed that I still could not move the adjusting gear (clockwise or counter clockwise). Any ideas what could be causing this and how I can get this deck level now? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
